Resurrected from the Not Totally Dead Yet…

So it’s been over a year since my last post. In that time I:

  • Started smoking again (have subsequently quit tho so don’t get your shorts twisted!)
  • Saw (and survived) my son’s first Deployment
  • Put on 12 lbs and 2 sizes
  • Lost 22 lbs and 4 sizes
  • Gave up many unhealthy eating habits to switch to a mostly clean and green lifestyle
  • Went on Journey 1 of my outrageously long Bucket List
  • Got a new sleek road bike
  • Re-Started my Concessions post at the Quarterback Club
  • Started and Stopped weight training. Again. Twice. Possibly three times…one does lose count.
  • Had 2 wrecks on my bike
  • Stopped running due to injury and those former 22 lbs.
  • Had my dog develop Diabetes

And so much more. For all my attempt at a quiet life, I usually seem to have a lot going on and mostly, I think about the stuff I’d like to write about but just never get to it. I’ve no doubt most everyone has that same problem.

So I’m back. Don’t know for how long, or when I will write but here I am. Will fix any broken links soon. Maybe….if I remember!

Will close for now with a small snip from some story I read somewhere (yah, I know, that’s vague!) that caught my eye and made me think…the fact that it has stayed with me says a lot since everyone knows I am about as deep as a puddle in the dessert and have the attention span of a gnat.

“Circumstances or people can take away your material possessions, they can take away your money, and they can take away your health. But no one can ever take away your precious memories…So, don’t forget to make time and take the opportunities to make memories everyday. To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven.  It is said that it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them.”

  1. One thing I’d like to add, God’s love
is never changing. He loves you, always has & always will. If you can believe the bible…it tells us that He knew us while we were in our mother’s womb. So glad to see you back on Diva Maria. You are hardly shallow. I wish I could be so unforgiving as you are. This is a trait I really admire in you & what’s more it is a Godly trait. Bushels of love, gram
